Job Description

Sales Executive - Travel Sales (Female Preferred) Job Summary: The Sales Executive will play a crucial role in our sales team, responsible for handling both domestic and international travel queries. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of various travel destinations, be proficient in Excel, and possess skills in lead conversion, cold calling, collaborating with B2B vendors, and maintaining an active LinkedIn profile. Roles and Responsibilities: Travel Sales: Respond to customer inquiries, provide information, and offer travel packages for both domestic and international destinations. Excel Proficiency: Utilize Excel to maintain and analyze sales data, track leads, and generate reports for management. OTA Platform Management: Expertise in handling Online Travel Agency platforms to book and manage reservations efficiently. Lead Conversion: Effectively convert leads generated through various sources into sales by understanding customer needs and providing suitable solutions. Cold Calling: Engage in proactive outreach through cold calls to potential clients, presenting our travel packages, and convincing them to choose our services. B2B Collaboration: Collaborate with B2B vendors, travel agencies, and partners to explore new business opportunities and maintain existing relationships. LinkedIn Networking: Maintain an active presence on LinkedIn to connect with potential clients, partners, and industry professionals, sharing relevant content and updates. Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by addressing their concerns, providing exceptional service, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and customer preferences to identify new sales opportunities and improve existing offerings. Targets and Reporting: Set and achieve sales targets, report progress regularly to the Sales Manager, and suggest strategies for improvement. Travel Expertise: Continuously improve destination knowledge to assist customers with travel planning and recommendations effectively. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and transactions. Qualifications: Minimum 1 year of experience in sales, preferably in the travel industry. Basic knowledge of popular domestic and international travel destinations. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting. Familiarity with OTA platforms and booking systems. Strong communication and negotiation skills. Proven experience in lead conversion and cold calling. Ability to collaborate effectively with B2B vendors.
